Known to many as Nebz, the name originally stems from “Nebula,” symbolizing a sense of colors and a vibrant personality Born in Queens, NYC, Nebz was raised in a Guyanese household, only to later discover deep roots connecting to Nigeria, Europe, and Suriname. As a child, basketball was Nebz’s first passion and wanted to purse it as a career. However, life had other plans. After watching You Got Serve, and learning how to break at an after school program this new journey into dance became transformative.
Through dance, he found a deeper connection with God and a community of friends that became like family. This path led to unexpected opportunities, from studying physical therapy and becoming a physical therapist assistant to pursuing modeling and acting. Each experience feels like a chapter in what Nebz describes as living “many different lives in one.”
Outside of professional pursuits, Nebz loves hiking, playing board games, and thrifting. With a heart full of gratitude Nebz looks forward to wherever life’s rhythm leads next.
