Kid Break Poster

from $20.00

Hailing from the east side of the Bronx, KID BREAK representing TMB and Shuffles & Flow began his journey into breaking at just 4 years old. His father showed him the iconic movie Beat Street where he loved the battle scene. Shortly after in the 14th Street Union Square subway mezzanine, a dancer named Float Master John gave him his first chance to shine. This led Kid Break to perform on the subways, especially on the L and Q trains, then moving to the streets of NYC with DayDay. Over the years, he honed his craft with guidance from his first teachers Rokafella and KwikStep of Full Circle and through collaboration with crews such as Waffle Crew led by Goofy, and Bboy Rebels led by Angel.

With over a decade of breaking experience, Kid Break has made a name for himself as a top-tier dancer. He is currently ranked number 1 in the U.S. Teen category as part of the BFGUSA youth/teen team. His accomplishments also include three championship titles in the youth world finals at Freestyle Session, judging competitions, and teaching workshops. Beyond battling, Kid Break gives back to his community by performing at local centers and has appeared in commercials for Nike and Snipes, as well as the feature film Blue’s Big City Adventure. His passion and dedication continue to inspire a new generation of breakers.
